The Effect of Chaihu Shugan Powder Combined with Neiguan Acupoint Pressing Therapy on Epigastric Pain

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Chaihu Shugan Powder and Neiguan acupoint pressing therapy on patients with epigastric pain.Methods A total of 80 patients with epigastric pain were selected from Jian'ou Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital during the periods from January 2022 to December 2022,and randomly divided into observation group(n=40 cases)and control group(n=40 cases).The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,while the observation group was treated with Chaihu Shugan powder combined with Neiguan acupoint pressing on the basis of the controlgroup.Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the score of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome after treatment was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the total adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05),but the recurrence rate in the observation group was significantly lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of Chaihu Shugan Powder and Neiguan acupoint pressing therapy can improve the symptom,clinical efficacy,and prognosis in patients with epigastric pain.It is recommended to promote and use.
