Observation on the Clinical Efficacy of Medium Frequency Anti-snoring Device in the Treatment of Moderate OSAHS

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of applying medium-frequency anti-snoring device to treat moderate obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).Methods Thirty patients with moderate OSAHS diagnosed at Tinglin Hospital in Jinshan District,Shanghai,from July 2022 to June 2023 were selected for the study,and they were given medium-frequency anti-snoring devices during nighttime sleep.Sleep monitoring,SAQLI score,and epworth sleepiness scale(ESS)score were completed before and 4 weeks after the treatment,and the data were analyzed.Results Compared with the pre-treatment period,the apnea hypopnea index(AHI),pulse oxygen saturation(SPO2)<90%duration,snoring,and the longest apnea time of the patients significantly decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the lowest pulse oxygen saturation(LSPO2)significantly increased(P<0.05).The SAQLI score and ESS score were all improved(P<0.05).Conclusion The medium-frequency anti-snoring device can improve the sleep indexes,quality of daily life and daytime sleepiness in patients with moderate OSAHS,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
