The Effect of Low-frequency Electrical Stimulation Combined with Acupoint Massage on Postpartum Prolactin and Postpartum Rehabilitation after Cesarean Section

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of low-frequency electrical stimulation combined with acupoint massage on postpartum prolactin and postpartum recovery after cesarean section.Methods A total of 150 postpartum women who underwent cesarean section delivery in The Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected,and randomly divided into a control group and an intervention group.The control group received routine obstetric care after delivery,while the intervention group received low-frequency electrical stimulation combined with acupoint massage.The lactation,gastrointestinal function recovery,and complications of the two groups were observed.Results The initial lactation time of the intervention group was significantly shorter than that of the control group,and the average lactation volume of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The prolactin levels in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group on the 1st and 3rd day of delivery(P<0.05).The recovery of bowel sounds,defecation,and exhaust time in the intervention group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of postoperative complications in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Implementing low-frequency electrical stimulation combined with acupoint massage after cesarean section can improve the effect of milk secretion and prolactin secretion,reduce complications,and raisee postpartum recovery efficiency.
