Effects of Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Agonist Combined with Mirena Conservative Treatment on Ovarian Function and Sex Hormone Levels in Adenomyosis Patients

Abstract：Objective To observe the effects of gonadotropin releasing hormone agonists combined with Mirena on ovarian function and sex hormone levels in patients with adenomyosis.Methods A total of 98 patients with adenomyosis who underwent treatment at Quanzhou Licheng Wanxiang Minimally Invasive Hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected and divided into a control group of 48 cases and an observation group of 50 cases according to the order of admission.The control group was treated with Mirena,while the observation group was treated with Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Agonist combined with Mirena.Compare the ovarian function,estrogen levels,degree of dysmenorrhea pain,menstrual volume,and incidence of adverse reactions during treatment between the two groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the levels of anti-Mullerian hormone in both groups increased and the levels of follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,and estradiol decreased compared to before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of anti-Mullerian hormone in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group,while the levels of follicle stimulating hormone,luteinizing hormone,and estradiol were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The visual simulation pain scores and menstrual volume and menstrual bleeding map scores of the observation group after 3 and 6 months of treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 6.00%,significantly lower than the control group's 20.83%(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of gonadotropin releasing hormone agonists and Mirena can effectively improve ovarian function and estrogen levels in patients with adenomyosis,and is worth promoting and using.
