Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of lead-free pacemakers in the treatment of middle-aged and elderly patients with bradyarrhythmia. Methods A total of 94 middle-aged and elderly patients with bradyarrhythmia who underwent lead-free pacemaker implantation treatment at Meizhou People's Hospital from May 2020 to May 2022 were selected. They were divided into an elderly group(≥60 years old)of 80 patients and a young and middle-aged group(<60 years old)of 14 patients. All patients underwent Micra lead-free pacemaker implantation treatment, and surgical related indicators, changes in pacemaker electrical parameters, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in implantation success rate(both 100.00%),surgical time,X-ray projection time, and Micra release frequency between the two groups(P>0.05).During the one-year follow-up period after surgery, the pacemaker threshold, perception, and impedance of the two groups remained within the normal range, with no significant difference(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Micra lead-free pacemaker implantation is safe and effective in the treatment of middle-aged and elderly patients with bradyarrhythmia, and has advantages, such as short surgical time, high implantation success rate, and good electrical parameter stability. It is worth promoting and using.
