Clinical Observation of Bromfenac Sodium Eye Drops in the Treatment of Dry Eye
JIA Baoyang
Abstract:Objective? To observe the clinical effect of bromofenac sodium eye drops in the treatment of dry eye. Methods? A total of 130 dry eye patients admitted to our hospital from 2017 to 2018 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, 65 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drops and the observation group were treated with bromofenac sodium eye drops for 14 days. The tear film rupture time, corneal fluorescein staining score and tear secretion were compared between the two groups before treatment, 3 days, 7 days and 14 days after treatment. Results? There were significant differences in tear film rupture time on the 7th and 14th day of treatment (P<0.05), corneal fluorescein staining scores on the 14th day of treatment (P<0.05), and tear secretion on the 3rd, 7th and 14th day of treatment between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion? Bromfenac sodium eye drops can significantly improve tear film rupture time, corneal fluorescein staining score and tear secretion in patients with dry eye, which is superior to traditional artificial tear, and is worthy of popularization and application.
