Kidney Pathological Changes in IgA Nephropathy Patients Infected by Helicobacter Pylori
WU Chunhua
Abstract:Objective? To investigate the renal pathological changes in patients with IgA nephropathy after Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection. Methods? A total of 79 patients with IgA nephropathy who were admitted to our hospital from 2017 to 2019 were divided into infection group (36 cases) and non-infection group (43 cases) according to whether HP infection occurred. Kidney pathological sections were scored by Katafuchi semi-quantitative scoring method. Results? The glomerular proliferation, segmental damage, glomerular sclerosis, tubulointerstitial score, vascular score and total score in the infected group were significantly higher than those in the non-infected group (P<0.05). Conclusion? HP infection can further aggravate the progression of IgA nephropathy and further aggravate the tissue damage in terms of renal pathology.
