Abstract:Objective? To evaluate the therapeutic effect of mosapride on gastric emptying and proximal gastric diastolic ability in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD). Methods? A total of 80 FD patients admitted to our hospital from 2016 to 2019 were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group was treated with domperidone and the observation group was treated with mosapride. The improvement of gastric emptying (residual gas volume and gastric emptying rate) and proximal gastric relaxation (proximal gastric volume) were compared between the two groups. Results? Before treatment, there was no significant difference in residual gas volume and gastric emptying rate between the two groups (P>0.05); after treatment, the gastric emptying significantly improved in each group (P<0.05), and there was also significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in proximal gastric volume between the two groups after 0 min treatment (P>0.05);after 10 min, 30 min and 60 min treatment, proximal gastric volume in each group improved significantly compared with that before treatment (P<0.05), and the difference between the two groups was also significant (P<0.05). Conclusion? Mosapride can significantly improve gastric emptying and proximal gastric diastolic capacity in FD patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
