Evaluation of Mifepristone Combined with Gubeng Decoction in the Treatment of Functional Uterine Bleeding in Menopause

Abstract：Objective? To observe the clinical effect of mifepristone combined with Gubeng Decoction in the treatment of functional uterine bleeding in menopause. Methods A total of 123 cases of functional uterine bleeding in menopause were selected from January 2014 to June 2017 in the gynecological clinic of Tai’an Enliang Hospital. The patients were divided into two groups according to different treatments, 48 patients in the control group were treated with oral mifepristone daily, and 75 patients in the observation group were given Gubeng Decoction on the basis of oral mifepristone. To observe the curative effect and the change of endometrial thickness in the two groups. Results The marked and total effective rates of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the endometrial thickness of the two groups were significantly thinner than before treatment, while the endometrial thickness of the observation group was significantly thinner than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Mifepristone combined with Gubeng Decoction is effective in treating functional uterine bleeding in menopause, which is worthy of clinical application.
