Abstract:Objective? To analyze the effect of low frequency pulse electric stimulation on uterine involution after induced abortion. Methods A total of 280 women who underwent induced abortion due to accidental pregnancy from February 2017 to November 2018 in the Sixth People’s Hospital of Nanhai District of Foshan City were selected as the study subjects, who were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 140 cases in each group. The control group was given Chanfukang Granule orally after operation, while the observation group was given low frequency pulse electric stimulation therapy on the basis of the control group. The therapeutic effect, incidence of uterine hemorrhage, residual rate of blood clot, vaginal bleeding time and menstrual revival time were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.9%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group(90.7%)(χ2 = 6.629, P < 0.01). The incidence of uterine hemorrhage and clot residue in the observation group were 20.7% and 15.7% respectively, which were significantly lower than 37.1% and 29.3% in the control group (P<0.05). The time of vaginal bleeding and menstrual revival in the observation group was significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion For women undergoing induced abortion, low frequency pulsed electrical stimulation after operation is beneficial to promote uterine involution.
