Abstract:Objective? To explore the effect of comfort nursing on the adjustment of negative emotions in elderly patients undergoing femoral neck fracture surgery. Methods A total 45 elderly patients with femoral neck fracture treated in Yingkou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were selected. All patients were given the same treatment plan. According to the different nursing methods, they were divided into observation group (22 cases) and control group (23 cases). The control group received common nursing, while the observation group received comfort nursing based on common nursing. Negative emotions, complications and nursing satisfaction were compared in the two groups before and after treatment. Results After intervention, anxiety and depression in both groups were significantly alleviated, and the scores of anxiety and depression in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). The total satisfaction rate of nursing in the observation group was 95.5%, higher than 82.6% in the control group, but there was no significant difference (χ2=0.803, P>0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 9.1%, lower than that in the control group (21.7%), but the difference was no significant (χ2=1.581, P>0.05). Conclusion Comfort nursing can effectively improve their negative emotions for elderly patients with femoral neck fracture. It is worth popularizing.
