Characteristic Analysis of Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy in Diabetic Patients
HU Xiaona
Abstract:Objective? To investigate the characteristics of neuroelectrophysiological conduction in diabetes patients with or without cardiac autonomic neuropathy (CAN). Methods? A total of 313 DM patients admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were divided into study group (with CAN, N=127 cases) and control group (without CAN, N=186 cases) according to whether CAN was accompanied or not. By 24 hours, the indexes of frequency domain analysis and time domain analysis were compared between the two groups. Results? Low frequency (LF), DE, SD of the averages of NN intervals (SDANN) and square root of the mean of the sum of the squares of differences between adjacent RR intervals (RMSSD) in the study group were significantly smaller than those in the control group (P<0.05), while there was no significant difference in high frequency (HF) and the proportion of differences in successive NN intervals greater than 50 ms (PN50) between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion? Cardiac autonomic nerve injury in DM patients with CAN includes sympathetic nerve injury and parasympathetic nerve injury, but parasympathetic nerve injury is the main type.
