Clinical Comparison of Percutaneous Minimally Invasive Plate Internal Fixation and Incision Internal Fixation in the Treatment of Limb Fractures
JIAO Zhengyu
Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical effects of percutaneous minimally invasive plate internal fixation and incision internal fixation in the treatment of limb fractures. Methods A total of 68 cases of limb fracture were selected from June 2016 to December 2017 in Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Second Hospital of Changtu County. All cases were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, 34 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional incision and internal fixation, while the observation group was treated with percutaneous minimally invasive plate internal fixation. The perioperative indicators, therapeutic effects and operative complications were compared between the two groups. Results The incision length, intraoperative bleeding volume and hospitalization time of the observation group were significantly less than those of the control group (P < 0.05). There was no significant differences in operation time and fracture healing time between the two groups (P > 0.05). The excellent and good rate of the observation group was 91.2%, and slightly lower than 94.1% of the control group (χ2= 0, P > 0.05). The incidence of surgical complications was 8.8% in the observation group, and significantly lower than 29.4% of the control group (χ2 =4.660, P < 0.05). Conclusion The effect of minimally invasive plate internal fixation in the treatment of limb fracture is similar to that of traditional internal fixation, but the operation has less trauma and better clinical application value.
