Abstract:Objective To compare and analyze the clinical effects of percutaneous nephrolithotomy and flexible ureteroscopy in the treatment of renal calculi. Methods From June 2017 to June 2018, 70 cases of renal calculi were divided into control group and observation group, 35 cases in each group according to different treatment methods. The control group underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy and the observation group underwent flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy. The stone clearance rate and surgical complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in stone clearance rate between the two groups (P > 0.05). The incidence of operative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Percutaneous nephrolithotomy and flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy have the same effect in the treatment of renal calculi, but the complications of flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy are relatively less. Both methods have their advantages. Both methods can achieve satisfactory results in the removal of renal calculi. Clinical treatment should be selected according to patients’own conditions.
