Abstract:Objective? To explore the effect of early rehabilitation with hyperbaric oxygen in elderly patients with hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage after operation. Methods A total of 220 elderly patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage diagnosed and treated in the First Affliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from January 2017 to June 2018 were randomly divided into observation group (114 cases) and control group (106 cases). On the basis of routine treatment, hyperbaric oxygen combined with rehabilitation therapy and single hyperbaric oxygen therapy were given to observation group and control group, respectively. The neurological function, cognitive functions, the recovery of daily activity ability, and prognosis were evaluated and compared between two groups. Results After treatment, the neurological function, cognitive function and daily activity ability of the two groups were improved, and the improvement degree of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.05). The excellent and good rate of prognosis in the observation group was 74.6%, which was significantly higher than 53.8% of the control group (χ2=10.372, P<0.05). Conclusion For elderly patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, the effect of early application of hyperbaric oxygen combined with rehabilitation therapy is better than that of simple hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
