Abstract:Objective? To discuss the relationship between the levels of CA199 and CEA with blood glucose in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 100 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Liaobu Hospital of Dongguan City from May 2015 to May 2018 were selected as observation group, 96 healthy subjects in the same period were selected as control group. The levels of blood glucose, CA199 and CEA were detected and the correlation was analyzed. Results The levels of FPG, 2 h PG, GHbA1, CA199 and CEA were significantly higher than control group (P<0.05). The Spearman analysis showed that the levels of CA199 and CEA were positively correlated with the levels of FPG, 2 h PG and GHbA1 in observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion The levels of CA199 and CEA in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were higher than healthy person, which were positively correlated with the blood glucose indexes, and it could be used as a potential marker for type 2 diabetes mellitus besides malignant tumors.
