Relevant Factors of Urinary Retention after Cervical Cancer Resection and Related Nursing Intervention Experience
Abstract:Objective? To analyze the related factors of urinary retention after cervical cancer resection, and put forward some nursing intervention experience. Methods A total of 130 cervical cancer patientsunderwent surgical operation in our hospital from 2010 to 2018 were divided into observation group (68 cases) and control group (62 cases) according to the occurrence of urinary retention after operation. The related factors leading to urinary retention after operation were analyzed retrospectively. Results Univariate analysis showed that age, surgical resection range, preoperative urinary tract infection and preoperative functional exercise were the significant factors of postoperative urinary retention (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that age, preoperative urinary tract infection and preoperative functional exercise were significant risk factors for postoperative urinary retention (P<0.05). Conclusion Nurses should intervene in advance for the risk factors of urinary retention after cervical cancer surgery, especially for older patients. Moreover, nurses should pay attention to prevent urinary tract infection before operation, and perform pelvic floor electrical stimulation and biofeedback, pelvic floor muscle contraction exercise and urinary function training as early as possible, so as to minimize the occurrence of urinary retention after surgery.
