Evaluation of Quality Control Circle on Preventing Deep Venous Thrombosis after Hip Replacement

Abstract：Objective? To investigate the effects of quality control circle on preventing deep venous thrombosis (DVT) after hip replacement. Methods A total of 206 patients with hip replacement in our hospital from May 2013 to May 2017 were divided into research group and control group randomly, 103 patients in each group. The patients in research group adopt nursing by quality control circle, and the patients in control group adopt routine nursing. The effects of quality control circle on reducing deep venous thrombosis after hip replacement were compared between two groups. Results The occurrence rate of deep venous thrombosis in research group was significantly lower than control group (P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction in research group was significantly better than control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion Quality control circle has significant effect on preventing deep venous thrombosis after hip replacement, and it could reduce the risk of deep venous thrombosis and improve the satisfaction of patients, which is worthy of extensive promotion.
