Effect Analysis of Cognitive Function Exercise on Cognitive Impairment after Stroke

Abstract:Objective? To explore the effect of cognitive function exercise on cognitive, motor and daily living ability recovery in patients with cognitive impairment after stroke. Methods A total of 56 stroke patients with cognitive impairment admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University from June 2016 to January 2017 were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 28 cases in each group. The control group was given routine drug treatment and rehabilitation training. The observation group was given cognitive exercise on the basis of the treatment of the control group. After 12 weeks of treatment, the neurological functions, recovery of cognitive function and daily activity ability of the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results MoCA, Fugl-Meyer and Barthel scores of the two groups were improved after treatment, and the scores of the observation group were better than those of the control group after treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with cognitive impairment after stroke, cognitive function exercise based on routine treatment can effectively improve their cognitive function, motor ability and daily living ability.
