Abstract:Objective? To investigate the dynamic changes of inflammatory factors in children with cough variant asthma (CVA) complicated withMycoplasma pneumoniae (MP). Methods A total of 92 children with CVA admitted to our hospital from 2016 to 2018 were divided into MP infection group (group A, cases) and non-MP infection group (group B, cases). The dynamic changes of serum immunoglobulin E (IgE), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), interleukin-10 (IL-10), soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R) were observed before treatment (D0), one week after treatment (D1), two weeks after treatment (D2), three weeks after treatment (D3) and four weeks after treatment (D4). Results There was no significant change in IL-10 at each time point in group B (P>0.05); the other indicators in the intra-group showed a significantly gradual downward trend (P<0.05). There was no significant differences in IL-10 between the two groups at D3 and D4 time points, and sIL-2R at D1 and D2 time points (P>0.05); the other indicators had significant differences at different time points (P<0.05). Conclusion The secretion of inflammatory factors in children with CAV is abnormal to some extent, and MP infection may aggravate the abnormal secretion of inflammatory factors.
