Abstract:Objective? To analyze the occurrence of adverse reactions of blood transfusion in a hospital and find out the risk factors. Methods A total of 9807 blood transfusion patients in our hospital from 2010 to 2018 were selected retrospectively, counting up to 17 921 times. According to the information management system of blood transfusion, medical and nursing records, the risk factors of adverse reactions of blood transfusion were analyzed. Results A total of 83 cases (83 patients) had adverse reactions of blood transfusion, and the incidence rate of adverse reactions was 0.463%. The adverse reactions of erythrocyte, plasma, platelet and cryoprecipitation were 0.488%, 0.493%, 0.521% and 0.212%, respectively. Among 83 adverse reactions, the proportion of allergic reaction, febrile transfusionreaction and other adverse reactions were 68.67%, 27.71% and 3.61%, respectively. Univariate regression analysis showed that previous blood transfusion history (β=0.879, OR=3.241, 95%CI: 2.254~5.137) and allergic history (β=0.747, OR=4.003, 95%CI: 2.579~6.142) were risk factors for adverse reaction of transfusion. Conclusion Blood transfusion may cause varied adverse reactions, most of which are allergic reactions and febrile transfusion reactions. The occurrence of adverse reactions is closely related to the previousblood transfusion and allergic history. We should pay special attention to the risk of adverse reactions of blood transfusion in special population and do a good job of prevention.
