Abstract:Objective? To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety analysis of methyprednisolone combined with azithromycin in the treatment of refractory mycoplasma pneumonia in children. Methods From June 2015 to December 2016, a total of 86 children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia were randomly divided into control group (43 cases) and observation group (43 cases). The control group was treated with routine regimen, while the observation group was treated with glucocorticoid methylprednisolone on the basis of routine regimen. The clinical effects of the two groups were analyzed, and the improvement of the main clinical symptoms. clinical signs and adverse reaction between the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The recovery time of the main symptoms in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the adverse drug reaction rate between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The methyprednisolone combined with azithromycin has a significant clinical effect in the treatment of children refractory mycoplasma pneumonia and has good clinical value.
