Abstract:Objective? To investigate the clinical efficacy of single-incision laparoscopic high ligation versus conventional laparoscopic high ligation for indirect inguinal hernia in children. Methods A total of 122 indirect inguinal hernia patients from January 2018 to August 2018 were divided into two groups: study group (n=64) and control group (n=58), study group use single-incision laparoscopic high ligation and control group use conventional laparoscopic hernia sac high ligation. Results The operation time in study group was (17.4±6.0)min, and was significantly longer than (14.8±4.3) min in control group (t=2.770,P=0.007). There were no significant differences in intraoperative blood loss, postoperative activity time, hospital stay, postoperative complication rate, and recurrence rate between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Single-incision laparoscopic high ligation has a similar clinical effective with conventional laparoscopic high ligation for indirect inguinal hernia in children, with a smaller surgical scar, and deserves to be popularized clinically.
