Application of Wechat Platform in Health Education during Pregnancy and Discussion of Existing Problems

Abstract：Objective? To analyze the effect of health education during pregnancy through Wechat platform in our hospital in recent years, and to explore the existing problems. Methods A total of 300 women at child-bearing period who were registered in Shenyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from 2016 to 2017 were randomly divided into observation group and control group with 150 cases in each group. The control group received traditional health education, while the observation group used Wechat platform as a new channel for health education on the basis of the above. The general and abnormal pregnancies during pregnancy were compared between the two groups. Results There were significant differences in blood sugar and blood pressure fluctuations between the two groups before delivery (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in body mass index fluctuations (P>0.05). The incidence of placental abruption, premature rupture of membranes, fetal distress, premature delivery and late pregnancy in the two groups were significantly different (P<0.05). Conclusion The health education model based on Wechat platform during pregnancy can be used as a supplement to the conventional health education model to improve the effect of health education, but it also has some shortcomings, which need to be improved in the follow-up work.
