The control group was given donepezil tablets orally, while the observation group was given butylphthalide capsules on the basis of donepezil tablets. Both grous were treated for six months. The AD scale and vascular endothelial function were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results There was no significant differences in AD related scale scores and vascular endothelial function indexes between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05); after treatment, all aboved indexes were improved significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion Butylphthalide combined with donepezil can significantly improve the mental status, daily living function, cognitive function and vascular endothelial function for AD patients, which is better than single drug treatment, and is worthy of clinical application.
