Abstract:Objective? To investigate the clinical effect of radiofrequency ablation combined with omeprazole in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. Methods Forty-five patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease, which were collected in our hospital from January, 2017 to December, 2017, were divided into observation group and control group according to their treatment intention and methods. The observation group was treated with omeprazole combined with radiofrequency ablation, and the control group was treated with omeprazole combined with domperidone. Results The total effective rate was 90.91% in the observation group and 86.96% in the control group, respectively (χ2=0.003, P>0.05). The scores of quality of life index (QLI) after one week treatment in the two groups significantly improved than before treatment (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05). No serious adverse reactions or complications occurred in the two groups during treatment. Conclusion Radiofrequency ablation is safe and effective in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, which is suitable for those who have contraindication or long-term intolerance to drug therapy, and is worth popularizing.
