Effect of Bronchial Sleeve Lobectomy in the Treatment of Central Lung Cancer

Abstract：Objective To compare the clinical effects of bronchial sleeve lobectomy and pneumonectomy in the treatment of central lung cancer.Methods Clinical data of 131 patients with central lung cancer admitted to Liaohe Oilfield General Hospital from 2008 to 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into control group (61 cases of pneumonectomy) and observation group (70 cases of bronchial sleeve lobectomy) according to the different surgical treatment methods.The surgical conditions,incidence of complications and one year postoperative recurrence rate were compared between the two groups.Results There were significant differences in operation time,intraoperative bleeding volume,thoracic drainage volume,drainage tube extraction time,bedridden time and incidence of complications between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in one year postoperative recurrence rate between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion Bronchial sleeve lobectomy has the advantages of quick recovery and low incidence of complications for central lung cancer.The recurrence rate of bronchial sleeve lobectomy is similar to that of pneumonectomy.It is recommended for clinical application.
