The Effect Observation of Penqiangyan Granules on Pelvic Inflammatory Disease

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of penqiangyan granules in the treatment of pelvic inflammatory diseases. Methods A total of 73 patients with pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to our hospital from 2017 to 2018 were randomly divided into observation group (36 cases) and control group (37 cases). The control group was treated with ornidazole and the observation group adopted ornidazole combined with pelvic inflammatory granules. The therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups. Results The differences in TCM syndromes score, plasma viscosity, total blood viscosity, total blood viscosity under high shear rate, interleukin-2 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Penqiangyan granules can effectively improve the symptoms, hemorheology and immune function in patients with pelvic inflammatory disease, deserving extensive application.
