Effect of Quality Control Circle on Knowledge Awareness Rate of Subcutaneous Fat Hyperplasia at Insulin Injection Site in Diabetic Patients

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of quality control circle (QCC) activities on the awareness rate of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia related knowledge at insulin injection site in diabetic patients. Methods A QCC group was set up with the theme of "raising the awareness rate of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia related knowledge at insulin injection site in diabetic patients". Through holding current situationgrasping the status quo, setting the target value, and evaluating the root cause, we carried out corresponding countermeasures and implementation measures. Results After the implementation of QCC activities, the awareness rate of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia related knowledge at injection site increased from 26.32% to 70.28%, and the target achievement rate was 163.36%. Conclusion The application of QCC can improve the awareness rate of subcutaneous fat hyperplasia related knowledge at insulin injection site in diabetic patients, and has positive significance for improving the quality of nursing work.
