Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of clinical nursing pathway on the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage (PHH). Methods A total of 86 parturients by vaginal delivery were collected in our hospital from 2014 to 2017 and randomly divided into routine nursing group and nursing pathway group (43 cases in each group). The routine nursing group accepted routine nursing during perinatal period, while the nursing pathway group accepted standardized nursing based on clinical nursing pathway. We compared the hemorrhage after delivery. Results The amounts of hemorrhage between two groups at each time point were significantly different (P<0.05). The incidence rate of PPH in routine nursing group was significantly higher than that in routine nursing group (13.95% vs 2.33%, P<0.05). Conclusion The clinical nursing pathway could reduce the amount of hemorrhage and the incidence rate of PPH effectively, which should be promoted in clinical nursing.
