HAO Liangliang
Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effects of montelukast combined with budesonide on cough varriant asthma (CVA) in children. Methods A total of 97 children with CVA from 2016 to 2018 were collected in our hospital and divided into observation group (49 cases) and control group (48 cases) randomly. The control group accepted budesonide by atomization inhalation, while the observation group accepted montelukast based on that. We compared the pulmonary function and inflammatory factors between two groups. Results There were no significant differences in pulmonary function and inflammatory factors between two groups before treatment (P>0.05), while there were significant differences after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of montelukast combined with budesonide on CVA in children are effective, and could improve the pulmonary function and inflammatory level, which should be promoted in clinical application.
