Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical efifcacy of irbesartan in the treatment of hypertensive renal failure. MethodsEighty patients with hypertensive renal failure in Shenyang Red Cross Hospital from January, 2014 to December, 2015 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 40 cases in each group . The control group received nifedipine oral treatment combined with metoprolol. The observation group was given irbesartan orally on the basis of treatment of the control group. The blood pressure and renal function were compared between the two groups before and after the treatment.ResultsThe improvement of blood pressure and renal function of the observation group after treatment were better than those of the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).ConclusionIrbesartan in the treatment of hypertensive renal failure can coordinately lower blood pressure and improve renal function of patients as well, and it is worthy of further promotion.
