Diagnostic Value of 128-slice CT Angiography in Stenosis or Occlusion of Celiac Artery Trunk and Formation of Its Collateral Circulation

Abstract：Objective To discuss the diagnostic value of 128-slice CT angiography in stenosis or occlusion of celiac artery trunk and formation of its collateral circulation.MethodsThe image data of 24 cases of stenosis or occlusion of celiac artery trunk and the formation of its collateral circulation in People's Hospital of Tongbai County from 2014 to 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. The situation of stenosis, occlusion and collateral circulation of the cases were observed.ResultsIn 24 patients, there were 22 cases of stenosis and 2 cases of occlusion. There were 18 cases of collateral circulation with 24 communication arteries altogether. There were 2 cases of aneurysm in celiac trunk, 2 cases of dissection in superior mesenteric artery and one case of aneurysm in splenic artery. ConclusionThe 128-slice CT angiography can make an accurate diagnosis and evaluation of stenosis or occlusion of celiac artery trunk and its collateral circulation, and provide evidences for choice of treatment, evaluation of prognosis and judgment of curative effect.
