Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of trimetazidine on the cardiac function and myocardial metabolism of patients with coronary heart disease and cardiac functional insufifciency.MethodsNinety-four cases of patients with coronary heart disease complicated with cardiac insufifciency in Central Hospital of Sujiatun District of Shenyang from 2014 to 2015 were collected. The patients were divided into two groups including observation group and control group with 47 patients in each group. The two groups underwent the standard treatment for heart failure. The observation group received the treatment of Trimetazidine Dihydrochloride Tablets at the same time, and the conditions of cardiac function and myocardial metabolism of the two groups before and after the treatment were compared.ResultsAfter three months of treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction, left ventricular fractional shortening, stroke volume and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 of two groups were higher than that before treatment, while the left ventricular end diastolic diameter, left ventricular end diastolic volume, energy metabolism, matrix metalloproteinase-9 of the two groups were lower than that before treatment. The differences were statistically signiifcant (P < 0.05). The degree of improvement of the indexes of the observation group after treatment was better than the control group, and the differences were of statistical signiifcance (P < 0.05).ConclusionTrimetazidine can signiifcantly improve the cardiac function and myocardial energy metabolism of patients with coronary heart disease and cardiac functional insufifciency, which is worth promoting in use.
