Analysis of Surveillance for Anaphylactic Rash after Immunization in Liaoning from 2010 to 2013

Abstract:Objective To analyze the characteristics of anaphylactic rash after immunization in Liaoning, by using the Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI) information management system from 2010 to 2013;and to provide evidence for standardization of diagnosis of anaphylactic rash. Methods Data of anaphylactic rash cases reported from 2010 to 2013 were collected by using the national AEFI information management system. The descriptive methodology was used. Results 168 anaphylactic rash cases were reported (93.45%). Among these 168 cases, 70.24% were ≤1 year old, and 68.45%of them had the rash after the ifrst dose of immunization and 70.83%within 1 d after immunization. The estimated rate were 4.95 per million doses. Conclusion Most of anaphylactic rash cases in this study were abnormal reaction. It commonly occurred in small age group, within 1 d after immunization and the ifrst dose.
