Test of Syphilis by Treponema Pallidum Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay and Treponema Pallidum Particle Assay

Abstract：Objective To compare the different test results of syphilis by treponema pallidum enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(TP-ELISE) and treponema pallidum particle assay(TPPA). Methods 100 patients with syphilis were tested respectively by TP-ELISE and TPPA, and the results were compared. Results The positive rates of the two methods were 97%and 92%, and the speciifcity were 94%and 100%. Conclusions The positive rate of TP-ELISE was higher, and the speciifcity of TPPA was the highest.
