Application of Communication Techniques in Pediatric Nursing

Abstract：Objective To summarize the experience of communication techniques in pediatric nursing.Methods 158 child patient were selected, and divided into observation group (OG) and control group (CG), in that each group had 79 cases. CG was given usual care, while OG was given nursing with communication techniques based on usual care. We compared the degree of satisfaction and nursing disputes bwteen them.Results The degree of satisfaction and nursing disputes in OG were better than those in CG with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusions In pediatric nursing, communication techniques could improve quality of care, reduce the nursing disputes, and be accepted by parents easily.
