Prevention and Application of Marvelon for the Intrauterine Adhesions of Patients with Missed Abortion Curettage

Abstract：Objectives To investigate the prevention and application of Marvelon for the intrauterine adhesions of patients with missed abortion curettage. Methods All 160 patients of missed abortion curettage in our hospital from Jan 2010 to Dec 2013 were divided into two groups randomly:the control group (n=80) were treated with traditional antibiotics and other medicines to promote uterine recovery, and the observation group (n=80) were treated with marvelon on the basis of the control group. The intrauterine adhesions of the two groups were compared. Results There were signiifcant difference in the postoperative duration of vaginal bleeding, menstruation time, reduce menstrual flow, intrauterine adhesions after surgery, such as postoperative recovery indicators between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusions The application of marvelon can reduce postoperative vaginal bleeding, vaginal bleeding shorten recovery time and promote menstruation. It should be widely applied.
