Discussions about the Necessity of Hospital Library Individualized Information Service and the Corresponding Strategies

Abstract：Hospital libraries play an important role in the hospital clinical, research and teaching works. In a highly informatization of network, how to improve the utilization efifciency of the hospital library need further study. Given the current network provided variety of information resources, and therefore the obligation of the hospital library resources to collate and provide personalized information services. From the personalized information service deifnition, the present study analyzed the necessity for its implementation, and evaluated a variety of speciifc strategies for their implementation. We hoped that these strategies can provide personalized information service different for different readers, improve the efficiency of the library greatly, and promote the progress and development of the hospital research and clinical works.
