The Research of Personality Traits with Parkinson′s Disease in Community and the Correlation of Patients′Social Support with Depression

Abstract：Objective To analyze the patients′personality traits with Parkinson disease in community and the correlation of patients′ social support with depression. Methods 86 patients with parkinson′s disease were collected as observation group in community, and 40 patients with simple depression as control group. All the patients were evaluated by Hamilton Depression Scale and Social Support Rating Scale. Results The patients of Parkinson disease combined with depression were more depressed than the simple depression. All the patients with depression received a higher degree of social support, but the patients in observation group were better than control group. There was a negative relativity between the social support, negative attitude and the patients of Parkinson disease combined with depression. Conclusion There was a signiifcant correlation with the patients of Parkinson disease combined with depression and their social support. And it could prevent depression in the patients of Parkinson disease in community by enhancing the patients' social support.
