Abstract:Rectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors worldwide, with both incidence and mortality rates ranking among the top in China's cancer statistics. The application of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced rectal cancer has significantly improved treatment outcomes, with some patients achieving a pathological complete response (pCR) [1]. However, with the widespread use of ICIs, immune-related adverse events (irAEs) caused by them have gradually attracted attention.
