Abstract:Obesity and related metabolic diseases have become a global public health problem. The number of obese people in China continues to increase. According to the data from the 'Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Obesity (2024 Edition)', the overweight rate among adults in China is 34.3%, and the obesity rate is 16.4% [1]. Obesity-related complications (such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea syndrome, etc.) can significantly increase the risk of death in patients and impose a heavy economic burden on society [2].
