Abstract:Primary retroperitoneal soft tissue sarcoma (referred to as retroperitoneal tumor) is a rare malignant tumor. According to statistics, there are approximately 9,000 to 10,000 new cases of primary retroperitoneal tumors in China each year [1]. Retroperitoneal tumors encompass more than 70 histological types, with significant differences in biological behavior. They are insensitive to radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and complete surgical resection is the basic treatment method [2-3]. However, due to the large size, deep location, and complex surrounding structures of retroperitoneal tumors, they are prone to invade major vessels and adjacent organs, making surgery difficult. Therefore, the resection rate and quality of the tumor are closely related to the management of major vessels.
