Chinese expert consensus on diagnosis and treatment of mammary Paget disease(2025 edition)

Abstract：Mammary Paget disease (MPD) is a special type of breast cancer that involves the nipple-areolar region. Pure-type MPD is rare, and there is currently a lack of prospective studies and sufficient evidence-based medical data, leading to significant differences in diagnosis and treatment. To provide guidance and reference for the diagnosis and treatment of MPD, the Breast Surgery Group of the Chinese Society of Surgery organized some domestic experts. Based on literature data from both domestic and international sources and the practical experience of the experts, the consensus was formed through the Delphi method by voting.
