Abstract：With the continuous advancement of surgical techniques and the annual increase in the number of surgeries, perioperative blood management has gradually attracted widespread attention from clinical physicians. In the past, perioperative blood management mainly focused on how to deal with blood loss during surgery and the need for blood transfusions. However, as medical research has deepened, researchers have gradually realized that blood transfusion itself may carry potential risks, such as increased mortality, complication rates, and prolonged hospital stays.
