Abstract:Obesity, as an independent chronic disease and an important risk factor for various chronic diseases, has become a major public health issue in China [1]. Bariatric metabolic surgery can significantly reduce the weight of patients with severe obesity, while also curing or improving multiple comorbidities associated with obesity, and has been widely recommended by domestic and international guidelines [2-3]. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder causing infertility in women of childbearing age, and it is closely related to obesity [4].
