Abstract:The tactile perception of surgeons during laparoscopic surgery is indirect and influenced by the performance of the instruments. Therefore,a deep understanding and scientific management of laparoscopic instruments are crucial for optimizing surgical outcomes.Laparoscopic surgery provides an enlarged field of view, which aids in precise manipulation but may also result in a loss of global perspective on the surgery, increasing the risk of inadvertent injury. The range of manipulation is limited by the design of the instruments and the range of motion of the human joints, thus, selecting the appropriate trocar positions and instruments is vital for reducing"blind spots"in surgery.A thorough understanding of the use of various instruments and a full awareness of the inherent characteristics of laparoscopic surgery are essential to leverage their strengths and minimize their weaknesses. The objective conditions such as the manipulative space created by the instruments can be utilized to the fullest only by harnessing subjective abilities, such as technical skills, experience, and methods.
