Technique of totally endoscopic neck dissection for thyroid carcinoma

Abstract：Thyroid carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor in neck and head.The incidence of thyroid carcinoma is increasing in recent years.Endoscopic thyroidectomy (ET) has developed rapidly within twenty years.As an important part of radical thyroidectomy,lymph node dissection via endoscopy demands rich experience of open surgery and endoscopic skill.It is important to know the anatomy of dissection area to avoid injury of nerves,vessels and parathyroid glands.The use of IONM and carbon nanoparticles facilitates the procedure.
