Abstract:Endoscopic treatment has become an important method for early gastric cancer with the development of endoscopic technique and advanced research of early gastric cancer. Although endoscopic treatment can be safer than surgery with similar efficiency, complications still happen at times. The common complications include bleeding, perforation, stenosis and so on. Endoscopists should have sufficient knowledge about the risks,mechanisms,clinical features and management of such complications, consequently make efforts to guarantee the safety and efficiency, and take advantages of endoscopic treatment for early gastric cancer. As a result,more patients can benefit.
