Abstract:Peripheral arterial disease is a common vascular disease with an increasing incidence. Appropriate diagnosis and management are helpful to improve symptoms and salvage limbs. In recent years, with the advantage of less invasive compared to surgery, endovascular surgery is used widespread for peripheral arterial disease. However, there are various opinions regarding proper indications and procedure methods for interventional recanalization. Clinical practice guidelines based on evidence could assist physicians to make individual decisions for patients.
